Reaction Paper #4: Middle Childhood

For years middle childhood (ages 6-12) wasn’t studied much because it was thought to be a time of quiet between the rapid development of early childhood (ages 3-6) and the stress and tumult of adolescence (ages 12-18). Basically, people thought middle childhood was a time of “nothing much happens”. I want you to refute this idea. Argue against middle childhood being a time of no developments by discussing at least two developments noted in your reading on middle childhood. This will take about 1/2 to 3/4 of a page to cover.
