Short Article Reflection UC Library History

Humanities

1: talk to a reference librarian – you can talk to a reference librarian via the “chat with a librarian” option on any UC library website]

2: once you are sure you are speaking with a reference librarian, ask them to help you find a physical book / journal article about the history of that place in the second decade of the twentieth century.

3: choose one (book/article) – and write a 250 word report explaining your experience finding information about the place. Where did you find the information? What type of information is it (is it a book? a journal article? an encyclopedia entry?)? What is the information about – what is the subject matter? Did you have any trouble finding information? Or was the problem instead that there was too much information? What do you think could help you next time?

NOTE: add an image that demonstrate that you were working with a physical text, and any other element that you think conveys the experience of working in the library.
