  1. You will create a slide presentation about the real life experiences of Jewish individuals or communities living under Nazi occupation during World War II.
  2. You MAY NOT use the Diary of Anne Frank or the topic of Anne Frank’s life and family.
  3. You need a thesis statement, which is the main point that you plan to address in your research project. The evidence you provide in your project should support your thesis statement.
  4. Your presentation can be a slide presentation or a research paper. Slide Presentation: 10 slides or more, with text and graphics on each slide. You need a list of your sources on the final slide. You need 3 or more sources.
    1st slide– Introduction, with thesis statement, to introduce your topic. It needs to be a paragraph with 5 sentences, and graphics (picture, map, chart, etc.)
    2nd slide-8th slide– Information about your topic. Include text on each slide, with 3 sentences or more. You need a graphic on each slide (a picture, map, chart, etc.)
    9th slide– Conclusion- Conclusion, restate your thesis statement, and give concluding thoughts about your research. It needs to be a paragraph with 5 sentences and graphics (picture, map, chart, etc.)
    10th slide– A list of your 3 sources, including author, title, where you found the information (book, article, website, etc.), and date.
    Research Paper: 2 pages or more, 5 paragraphs or more (and 5 sentences in each paragraph). You need a list of your sources on the 2nd page. You need 3 or more sources. First page:
    1st paragraph: Introduction, with thesis statement, to introduce your topic

    3rd paragraph: Information about your topic
    4th paragraph: Information about your topic
