Read an article, then answer the question

  • How do the authors justify the research? What do the authors say about why they chose the topic?
  • How did the authors conduct their research? Did the article involve interviews? Surveys? Who participated in the research?
  • In the results/discussion sections, what themes did the authors identify after they analyzed their data? What do those themes mean?
  • At the end of each article, the authors makes recommendations about how others can use the research. What are their recommendations? Who do YOU think could benefit from the findings of the research beside communication studies scholars?
