Briefly explain the Doctrine of Double Effect (DDE), using your own example. Second, in your own words explain how DDE is applied in the Radiolab episode, “Playing God”. Third, describe your initial judgments about the actions of the doctors at New Orleans Memorial Hospital; i.e., Did you rely solely on the consequences to determine morality of the actions in question? Finally, explain if the DDE helped to reveal any significant features of the judgments you made, or alter the conclusions you reached.
