Current Issue Essay

You may elect to find a current (i.e. no more than a few months old) article in a reputable newspaper, journal, magazine, or website and explain how the article relates to one or more topics discussed during lecture. The article does not have to be about psychology. For example, you might analyze a social or political event in terms of materials discussed in class. You may be creative with this assignment but must clearly link your explanation and analysis of your article to material discussed in class. You must use proper MLA or APA citations to reference your chosen article and any other sources you elect to reference. The essay should be approximately 1000 words long and conform to MLA or APA formatting.
