Select 2 poems and complete the worksheet for each.

POEM 1:

What’s the poem’s title, author, year?

What is the poem about?

What is its form?

Which words or concepts are repeated?

Describe the rhyme, rhythm (meter). Are any of the words emphasized?

How does the poem make you feel?

What is the poem saying about a) relationships; b) the nature of reality and perceptions; c) life in general.

Sum it up: What do I like about the poem? (one paragraph)
