Read the attached to this week 13 “Containment.PDF” file and respond to the following questions:

Essay Topic for week 13:What did the containment policy state? Be precise and use an example. George Kennan’s correspondence provided a key information to the US government. What was the nature of this information and how informative was it? What was Walter Lippman’s approach to containment and what was George Kennan’s? How did they differ? How radical was Henry Wallace? What was his understanding of the Soviets?
