2. Provide an analysis of a passage (1/2 to 3/4 page). Include a quotation in your analysis.
3. Provide an evaluation of the article (3/4 – 1 page). Include a quotation in your evaluation. Critique what the author is saying. Do you agree/disagree? What is your reaction? Provide your commentary. If you are a man, are you convinced by the author that you should read Jane Austen? If you are a woman, would you recommend for the men in your life to read Jane Austen? Are you persuaded by this argument? Feel free to answer any or all of these questions when writing.
