Written Assignment: A graphic organizer grounded in a CCSS:
For this assignment you will submit ideas for a graphic organizer or visual map for a topic to be learned in your content area based on one of the grades 6-12 CCSS grade level groups (6-8, 9-10, 11-12). Please include the following:
- The grade level band
- The unit title
- The lesson objective that ties to the graphic organizer
- The CCSS you are using the graphic organizer to teach
Be creative. Write a short critical reflection (one page single spaced) on the efficacy of such a tool for your students. Discuss how the graphic organizer that you submit enhances student learning or motivation.
