As groups are formed, they naturally progress though different stages of group development. Write a 750- to 1,000-word paper that describes the different stages of group development.

Include the following in your paper:

  1. The stages of group development as represented by any of the theories cited in the reading material
  2. The distinctive attributes of each stage
  3. What a group leader should be doing at each stage to encourage connection and cohesion within the group
  4. A minimum of two scholarly sources to include the course textbook
