What is the function of the building? Civic? Religious? Public? Private? Commercial? Residential? How does the building reveal its function?

What is the scale of the building in comparison to humans? Surrounding buildings?

In what context was this structure built? How is the context reflected in the structure? Consider social, political, economic, or religious factors.

How long did it take to build the structure?

Which parts of the building seem to be emphasized?

How do the parts of the building relate to other parts of the building?

How does the building interact with the environment in which it is located?

Does it incorporate similar materials as nearby programs?

Does it draw upon nearby historical styles or influences?

Does it react against historical precedence?

What shapes are repeated throughout the program? Geometric shapes? Organic shapes?

How ornamental is the facade of the building?

How is interior space defined?

What features demarcate interior space?

Is interior open and airy?

Is interior space compartmentalized?

How does light contribute to the overall effect of the building?

How do the materials contribute to the overall effect of the building?

What architectural or stylistic terminology can be used to describe features of the building?

What technology was used to build the structure? How does this technology reflect the societal development?

How do overall features of the building create a unique user experience?

It might be a good idea to post additional visuals that help to show what the various architectural components of a Greek Temple are. You should demonstrate that you KNOW architectural features of the temple you pick! Just don’t post a picture only.

2. If you prefer, you may respond in the form of a video using the AAU video tool as an alternative to writing your response.
