1- Review the Chapter 2 notes on Socrates and political obligation and then please respond to the following:

Do you believe, as Socrates did, that we are obligated to obey laws even if those laws are perceived as unjust, and therefore, we must accept our fate? Or do we have the right to rebel against unjust laws as the 13 Colonies did in America? If you were faced with that situation, which choice would you make, Socrates (who chose death) or the 13 Colonies (who chose to rebel)? Explain your position. (200-250 words, no outside sources should be used just your personal response.)
