Topic: The three great proposals/possibilities emerging from our course regarding life after death are

Immortality of the Soul (Plato), Resurrection of the Death (Jesus & Paul), and Annihilation (Minsky).

Based on your viewing of the “Closer to Truth” programs discuss the ways in which science and

philosophy might address these issues in dealing with the mind-body problem, whether the brain alone

can explain consciousness, and whether life after death (either immortality of the soul or resurrection of

the dead) is scientifically possible or likely.
