  1. How would you describe in details the middle-class lifestyle?
    1. What are its characteristics—housing, vacations, cars, and lifestyle? Estimate what it takes to live a middle class lifestyle (be sure to identify where geographically you are referencing because middle class in WV is much different than middle class in NOVA).
    2. Why is the middle-class classification the same regardless of where you are located, why in 2018 has the federal government not recognized the clear geographic differences in cost of living and adjusted accordingly?
    3. Functionalists assume that not everyone in society can and should be equal. Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not? Explain in detail.
